Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a corporate magician cost?

Most corporate bookings land between $1,000 and $3,000.

What moves the number: whether you want mingling magic, the show, or both, how long Ben is on site, your guest count, and travel. Send over your date and program and you'll get a real number back instead of a range.

What types of magic shows are available for corporate events?

Two formats. Mingling magic, where Ben works the room performing close-up magic and mentalism directly in your guests' hands. And the show, a 20 to 30 minute performance that pulls the whole room in at once.

Most corporate clients book both. Mingling magic through the cocktail reception, then the show after dinner.

Can a magician customize the performance for our company or industry?

Yes. Ben can build your company name, a product, a milestone, or a member of your leadership team into the material.

Done right, the biggest reaction of the night lands on your brand rather than on the entertainment.

What's the difference between mingling magic and a show?

Mingling magic, also called close-up magic, is personal and interactive. It happens inches away in small groups, which makes it ideal for receptions, networking hours, and trade show booths.

The show is for when you want the entire room locked in at once. It's bigger, more visual, and built to land a shared moment across the whole audience.

What kinds of corporate events do you perform at?

Holiday parties, client appreciation events, award dinners, conferences, trade shows, product launches, company anniversaries, executive dinners, and team celebrations.

If it's a room full of adults with a reason to be there, it works.

How long does a corporate magic show last?

The show runs 20 to 30 minutes.

Mingling magic is booked as a block sized to your reception, and each group gets a personal five to ten minutes so nobody gets skipped. Ben maps the timing to your run of show ahead of the date, so the entertainment fits your schedule instead of fighting it.

Is the show appropriate for a professional audience?

Yes. Everything is clean, sharp, and written for adults. Nobody gets embarrassed, and nobody gets dragged up to be the punchline.

The humor works at a black-tie awards dinner and at a Friday holiday party, and Ben dresses to match the room either way.

Which companies have you performed for?

Corporate clients include Live Nation, Ross-Simons, The Jackson Laboratory, the Xfinity Center, 3Play Media, MADD, and the Concussion Legacy Foundation, along with companies across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

Is magic a good idea for a company holiday party?

It's one of the easiest wins on a holiday party program. The cocktail hour lull disappears, people from departments that never talk end up in the same circle, and everyone leaves with the same story.

Ben can work the reception, close the night with the show, or do both.

Can a magician help with our trade show booth?

Yes. Close-up magic is one of the few reliable ways to stop foot traffic and hold a crowd at a booth.

Ben draws people in, holds the group long enough for your team to talk to them, then moves the crowd along and starts again.

What size audience works best?

Any size, from a 30-person client dinner to a 500-plus guest gala.

For mingling magic, the number that matters is how long Ben is on site, not the head count, and he'll talk through timing and coverage with you so no table or section gets missed. On stage there's no cap at all, as long as the room is set so everyone can see and hear.

What do you need from us or the venue?

For mingling magic, nothing. Ben arrives and starts working the room.

For the show in a larger room, a microphone and speaker, which most hotels and conference centers already have. Send over the venue contact and Ben will sort the details with them directly.

When during an event should magic happen?

Cocktail hour is the most popular slot, since that's when guests are arriving and the room is still cold.

After dinner is the spot for the show, once everyone is seated and fed. Ben also works table to table between courses if your program doesn't have a reception.

How do I get a quote?

Fill out the booking form on the site or reach out directly. Ben replies within one business day.

Most planners hop on a short call first so he can learn about the program before putting a package together.
